This Privacy Policy explains how Rehan.ai ("Rehan.ai", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Rehan.ai mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address (for example, when you sign in with Google or create an account).
• Content you provide: the messages you send in chat, the audio and speech during voice calls, images you upload, and any links, CV, or details you choose to share with the AI coach.
• Profile & memory: to act as your personal coach, the AI builds and keeps a profile and memory about you (your goals, work, and progress) derived from your conversations.
• Usage & device data: basic technical data such as app version, device type, and approximate region, used to run and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the AI chat, voice calls, and coaching features.
• To remember you across sessions and personalise your coaching and follow-ups.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account (for example, verification or approval emails).

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing & third parties

To generate responses and voice, your messages and voice audio are processed by trusted AI providers, including OpenAI. This processing is solely to provide the Service. We do not share your data with advertisers.

• Google Sign-In — for authentication (we receive your name, email, and profile picture).
• OpenAI — for AI chat, transcription, and voice responses.
• Hosting/infrastructure providers — to run our servers.

4. Data retention

We keep your account, profile, memory, and conversation data for as long as your account is active, so the AI can remember you. You can delete your account and associated data at any time (see below), after which it is removed from our active systems.

5. Your rights & choices

• Access & correction: you can view and update your profile in the app settings.
• Deletion: you can delete your account and data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page, or from inside the app.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
